We look forward to seeing you. 1 am standing down as Secretary at the AGM after a 10 year tenure and so is the Chairman after 3 years.

b) Track & Field Championships

Both Merseyside and Greater Manchester have reduced their Championships to a one day event because of the small number of entries, in spite of taking entries on the day. Cheshire is continuing with its two day Meeting because the entries justify it and we are financially sound. The Committee appreciate the support Cheshire athletes give to the Championships.

c) Coaching Ethics

Following the recent court case involving a coach in the north of England, the Committee would like to stress to clubs the need to ensure that coaches do not detach themselves from the main body of the club and operate on a law unto themselves.
